How many times have you found yourself in the position where you want to put a message out on many social networks, but repeat the message on only a small subset of accounts?
For example, once a week Michael and I produce the Startup & Marketing Podcast and then notify everyone through Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest. I post to all of those networks once, then repeat the message on Twitter because it’s more of a news-channel than a social network (apparently).
In the past, you would schedule your message, then ‘copy’ (that is clone) the message with a repeat cycle and the appropriate accounts selected.
Now, you simply choose your ‘repeat’ option as usual…
… and at the top of the accounts panel, you’ll see a new option ‘Repeat mode to use different account selections?’
If you turn this option on, you’ll notice a second column appear.
Now you can choose which accounts are targeted for the 1st message and which accounts are targeted for the subsequently repeated messages.
You can mix and match the account selections as desired, but we suspect you’ll use this feature to target many accounts in the ‘1st’ message and only one or two accounts in your repeated messages.
Remember, you should attempt to use a different editorial copy per social network, this is now easily possible by clicking on the quotation-bubble next to the account(s) you have selected.
